CUSTOMER SERVICE CLAIMS EXECUTIVE
A vacancy has arisen for a Customer Service Claims Executive who has a sound knowledge of insurance and will be responsible for the delivery of customer service standards within the department. Candidate must be ACII qualified or equivalent.
Salary £35,000
The role
• Manage, coach and direct the Customer Service Claims Department to meet objectives and service standards.
• Ensuring that the Department handles all claims in a cost effective manner in accordance with Guidelines, Procedures and Claims Philosophy.
• Work with Regional Service Manager and Executives to deliver consistent service standards both Regionally and Nationally.
• Ensure sufficient skilled resource exists within the department through staff development, succession planning and recruitment
• Meeting objectives and targets set by Claims Manager and Regional Service Manager.
• Ensuring Compliance with the responsibilities and obligations imposed by the FSA and overseeing complaints.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with the Agency network, Operations team and third party providers, as appropriate.
• Manage the implementation of procedural and process changes to the Department.
• Deputise for the Regional Services Manager as required.
The successful Applicant will have:-

• Ability to manage people and teams through periods of change acting as a change agent at all times.
• Excellent people and work management skills.
• Initiative, constantly looking for and suggesting and implementing improvements in processes and methods of work.
• Strong leadership, excellent judgement and decision making.
• Good communication/negotiating skills, verbal and written.
